Behavioral Sciences (BHS)

Section Information

Behavioral Sciences focus on the study of human and animal behavior, including the psychological, social, cognitive, and biological factors that influence actions and decision making. The field draws from psychology, sociology, neuroscience, anthropology, and related disciplines to understand behavior across individual and group contexts.

Current research examines cognition, emotion, motivation, learning, social interaction, behavioral health, and cultural influences. Advances in experimental methods, data analytics, neuroimaging, and computational modeling are expanding knowledge of behavior in clinical, educational, organizational, and public policy settings.

This section publishes empirical studies, theoretical analyses, interdisciplinary research, systematic reviews, and applied studies related to behavioral processes, mental health, social systems, and evidence-based interventions.
