Section Information

Medicinal Chemistry focuses on the design, synthesis, and development of biologically active compounds for therapeutic use. The field integrates organic chemistry, pharmacology, biochemistry, and molecular biology to discover and optimize drugs for the prevention and treatment of disease.

Current research includes structure–activity relationship studies, drug design, molecular modeling, target identification, lead optimization, and evaluation of pharmacokinetics and toxicity. Advances in computational chemistry, high-throughput screening, and precision medicine are accelerating drug discovery and development.

This section publishes synthetic studies, biological evaluation research, mechanistic investigations, computational modeling work, and review articles related to small molecules, biologics, and innovative therapeutic agents.
