Section Information

Endocrinology and Metabolism focus on the study of hormones, endocrine glands, and metabolic processes that regulate growth, development, energy balance, and homeostasis. The field examines how hormonal signaling controls physiological functions and how metabolic disorders affect human health.

Current research includes diabetes, obesity, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary diseases, reproductive endocrinology, and metabolic syndrome. Advances in molecular biology, clinical diagnostics, imaging, and targeted therapies are improving understanding and treatment of endocrine and metabolic conditions.

This section publishes clinical studies, experimental research, molecular investigations, translational analyses, and review articles related to hormonal regulation, metabolic pathways, and endocrine system disorders.
