Section Information

Microscopy focuses on the development and application of imaging techniques that allow visualization and analysis of structures at micro- and nanoscale levels. The field supports research in materials science, biology, medicine, physics, and nanotechnology through advanced imaging and analytical methods.

Current research includes optical microscopy, electron microscopy, scanning probe techniques, super-resolution imaging, cryogenic microscopy, and in situ observation methods. Advances in detector technology, image processing, automation, and correlative imaging are enhancing spatial resolution, sensitivity, and analytical capability.

This section publishes methodological innovations, instrument development studies, imaging analyses, sample preparation techniques, and review articles related to microscopic characterization and imaging science.
