Sport Sciences (SPS)
Section Information
Sport Sciences focus on the scientific study of physical activity, exercise performance, and human movement. The field integrates physiology, biomechanics, psychology, nutrition, and coaching science to improve athletic performance, health outcomes, and injury prevention.
Current research includes exercise physiology, motor control, sport psychology, performance analytics, sports medicine, and training optimization. Advances in wearable technology, motion capture systems, data analytics, and recovery science are enhancing evidence-based approaches in sport and exercise.
This section publishes experimental studies, clinical investigations, performance analyses, training interventions, and review articles related to sport performance, physical activity, and health promotion.
