Section Information

Agronomy focuses on crop production and soil management to improve yield, quality, and sustainability. It studies the interaction between plants, soil, water, climate, and farming practices to develop efficient and resilient agricultural systems.

Current research in agronomy addresses climate-resilient crops, sustainable soil management, nutrient use efficiency, water conservation, and integrated crop management. Advances in plant breeding, biotechnology, precision agriculture, and data-driven decision tools are shaping modern agronomic practices.
