Section Information
Multidisciplinary Engineering focuses on the integration of multiple engineering disciplines to design, analyze, and optimize complex systems. The field promotes collaboration across mechanical, electrical, civil, chemical, computer, and environmental engineering to address large-scale technical and societal challenges.
Current research includes systems engineering, smart infrastructure, sustainable technologies, robotics, advanced manufacturing, digital twins, and integrated design frameworks. Advances in modeling, simulation, data analytics, and cross-domain collaboration are enabling holistic engineering solutions.
This section publishes interdisciplinary studies, system-level analyses, integrative design research, case investigations, and review articles that combine methods and knowledge from multiple engineering domains.
