Immunology (IMN)
Section Information
Immunology focuses on the study of the immune system and its role in protecting the body against infections, diseases, and abnormal cells. The field examines innate and adaptive immune responses, immune regulation, and the mechanisms underlying immune-related disorders.
Current research includes vaccine development, immunotherapy, autoimmune diseases, allergy, transplantation immunology, and host–pathogen interactions. Advances in molecular biology, monoclonal antibodies, cellular therapies, and systems immunology are improving prevention and treatment strategies.
This section publishes experimental studies, clinical investigations, molecular analyses, translational research, and review articles related to immune mechanisms and therapeutic innovations.
