Meteorology & Atmospheric Sciences (MAS)

Section Information

Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences focus on the study of the Earth’s atmosphere, weather systems, and climate processes. The field examines atmospheric dynamics, thermodynamics, radiation, and chemical composition to understand weather patterns and long-term climate behavior.

Current research includes weather forecasting, severe storm analysis, climate modeling, atmospheric chemistry, air pollution, and interactions between the atmosphere and oceans. Advances in satellite observations, radar systems, numerical weather prediction, and data assimilation are improving predictive accuracy and climate assessment.

This section publishes observational studies, modeling research, theoretical analyses, field investigations, and review articles related to atmospheric processes and climate systems.
