Section Information

Food Science and Technology focuses on the study of food composition, processing, safety, quality, and preservation. The field integrates chemistry, microbiology, engineering, and nutrition to improve food production systems and ensure safe, nutritious, and sustainable food supplies.

Current research includes food processing technologies, food safety management, functional foods, packaging innovations, sensory analysis, and sustainable food systems. Advances in biotechnology, nanotechnology, automation, and data analytics are improving efficiency, traceability, and product quality across the food industry.
