Section Information

Toxicology focuses on the study of the adverse effects of chemical, biological, and physical agents on living organisms and ecosystems. The field examines mechanisms of toxicity, exposure pathways, risk assessment, and strategies to prevent or mitigate harmful effects on human health and the environment.

Current research includes molecular and cellular toxicology, environmental toxicology, clinical toxicology, regulatory safety evaluation, and emerging contaminants. Advances in high-throughput screening, computational toxicology, biomarker discovery, and alternative testing models are improving hazard identification and risk management.

This section publishes experimental investigations, clinical case studies, risk assessment research, regulatory analyses, and review articles related to toxic agents and their biological and environmental impacts.
