Biology (BIO)
Section Information
Biology focuses on the study of living organisms, their structure, function, growth, evolution, and interactions with the environment. The field covers molecular, cellular, organismal, and ecological levels to understand life processes across diverse biological systems.
Current research spans molecular biology, genetics, physiology, ecology, evolution, microbiology, and developmental biology. Advances in imaging, genomics, biotechnology, and computational analysis are expanding knowledge of biological mechanisms and supporting applications in health, agriculture, conservation, and environmental management.
This section publishes experimental studies, field investigations, theoretical research, interdisciplinary analyses, and review articles related to fundamental and applied biological sciences.
