Biochemistry and Molecular Biology focus on the chemical processes and molecular mechanisms that underlie life. The field studies proteins, nucleic acids, lipids, carbohydrates, and other biomolecules to understand cellular function, metabolism, gene regulation, and disease mechanisms.

Current research explores enzyme structure and function, metabolic pathways, molecular signaling, gene expression, epigenetics, and biomolecular interactions. Advances in structural biology, omics technologies, genome editing, and molecular imaging are expanding knowledge in health, biotechnology, and therapeutic development.

This section publishes experimental research, structural and functional analyses, mechanistic studies, molecular modeling work, and review articles related to biochemical pathways, molecular systems, and translational applications in life sciences.
