Section Information

Cell Biology focuses on the structure, function, and behavior of cells as the fundamental units of life. The field examines cellular organization, intracellular processes, communication pathways, and interactions that regulate growth, development, and disease.

Current research explores cell signaling, organelle dynamics, cytoskeletal organization, cell division, differentiation, and programmed cell death. Advances in live-cell imaging, molecular labeling, single-cell analysis, and genome editing are providing deeper insight into cellular mechanisms in health and disease.

This section publishes experimental studies, mechanistic investigations, imaging-based research, molecular analyses, and review articles related to cellular processes, cell–cell interactions, and translational cell biology.
