Spectroscopy (SPC)
Section Information
Spectroscopy focuses on the study of the interaction between electromagnetic radiation and matter to determine structural, chemical, and physical properties. The field plays a central role in physics, chemistry, materials science, biology, environmental science, and medicine through qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Current research includes optical, infrared, Raman, nuclear magnetic resonance, mass, and X-ray spectroscopy, as well as ultrafast and high-resolution techniques. Advances in laser sources, detector technologies, computational analysis, and miniaturized instrumentation are expanding applications across research and industry.
This section publishes experimental investigations, methodological developments, instrument innovation studies, theoretical analyses, and review articles related to spectroscopic techniques and applications.
