Section Information

Environmental Engineering focuses on the protection of human health and the environment through the design of systems that manage water, air, soil, and waste resources. The field applies engineering principles to prevent pollution, restore ecosystems, and promote sustainable development.

Current research includes water and wastewater treatment, air pollution control, solid and hazardous waste management, environmental monitoring, and climate adaptation strategies. Advances in green technologies, resource recovery, environmental modeling, and data-driven management are improving environmental performance across urban and industrial systems.

This section publishes experimental studies, system design research, field assessments, modeling investigations, and review articles related to sustainable environmental infrastructure and pollution control technologies.
